A mastiff is a huge breed of dog. The mastiff is such a hefty powerful powerfully built dog that can weigh over 300 lbs.

The mastiff can be solid in color and can range from light sandy/yellow to a gorgeous steel grey with a black mask.

A Mastiff tend to always be guarding their owners and their area. They don’t tend to attack, but they have been known to keep strangers at bay, and can be aggressive if they are not well socialized when they are puppies. So mastiff training is highly recommended.

Mastiffs can be really happy going on a couple walks a day. Some mastiffs enjoy hiking or swimming but they are not good jogging companions.
Mastiffs are fantastic, devoted pets, and even though they are great in you can have them in an apartement as long they get some breaks each day to stretch their legs. Many mastiff owners say that their mastiffs are big couch potatoes anyway.
